Hurricane IAN

As we get through the aftermath caused by Hurricane Ian, Sarasota County Neighborhood Services is sharing a list of resources to help our residents and community members. Please share the following information with your community members, friends, family, and anyone who has been affected by Hurricane Ian and could benefit from any of the following.


Food and Water:

The Salvation Army Feeding Services

Lunch will begin around noon - 1 p.m. and dinner around  4:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. These locations are only open at meal times. Additional locations and services are developing for Venice and North Port areas. 

**Food available while supplies last.




County Services:

  • If you are in an area that is impacted with water and/or you have no power and you have chosen to evacuate, a voluntary evacuation center continues to be open at Venice High School located at  1 Indian Ave Venice Fl 34285

  • Call the Contact Center at 311 or (941) 861-5000 if you have an urgent matter for a member of the Emergency Management Division.
